    The multiple presence factors should not be used with the code provided live load distribution formulas, since these effects are already built into the various equations.
    However, they must be used when computing distribution factors based on the Lever Rule or when using refined analysis.

    4.6.2.2.2d-Exterior Beams

    The live load flexural moment for exterior beams may be determined by applying the live load distribution factor, g, specified in Table 4.6.2.2.2d-1. However. if the girders are not equally spaced and g for the exterior girder is a function of g_interior. g_interior Should be based on the spacing between the exterior and first-interior girder. 
    The distance, d_e. shall be taken as positive if the exterior web is inboard of the interior face of the traffic railing and negative if it is outboard of the curb or traffic barrier. However, if a negative value for d_e, falls outside the range of applicability as shown in Table 4.6.2.2.2.d-1 d_e, should be limited to -1.0. 
    In steel beam-slab bridge cross-sections with diaphragms or cross-frames, the distribution factor for the exterior beam shall not be taken to be less than that which would be obtained by assuming that the cross-section deflects and rotates as a rigid cross-section. The provisions of Article 3.6.1.1.2 shall apply.

     

    외측 거더의 활하중 휨 모멘트는 표 4.6.2.2.2d-1에 지정된 활하중 분포 계수를 적용하여 결정할 수 있습니다. 단, 거더의 간격이 동일하지 않고 외부 거더의 g가 g_interior의 함수인 경우, g_interior는 외부 거더와 첫 번째 내부 거더 사이의 간격을 기준으로 해야 합니다. 
    외부 복부가 방호벽 내부면의 안쪽에 있는 경우 거리 d_e. 는 양수로, 연석 또는 방호벽의 바깥쪽에 있는 경우 음수로 취합니다. 단, 표 4.6.2.2.2.d-1 d의 적용 범위를 벗어나는 음수 값인 경우 -1.0으로 제한해야 합니다. 
    다이어프램 또는 크로스프레임이 있는 강보-슬래브 교량 단면에서 외부 보의 분포 계수는 단면이 강성 단면으로 휨 및 회전한다고 가정하여 얻을 수 있는 값보다 작아서는 안 됩니다. 제 3.6.1.1.2조의 규정이 적용됩니다.
